Anna Chlumsky has continued to captivate viewers with her leading roles in films such as "Trading Mom," and Gold Diggers: The Secret of Bear Mountain. She won several awards for her work in these films earlier in her career. During high school her interest in acting began to fade. enthusiasm for the entertainment industry. She missed all the other students during film shootings. Her interest began to fade to perform and was more focused on pursuing her studies. Aspiring to be a food writer The best job she could get was a job as fact-checking for Zagat restaurant guides. In fact, her new job as an editorial assistant with HarperCollins caused her to feel depressed. After deciding to get involved in acting again, and following the advice of a professional agent, she began taking classes to sharpen her skills. Then, she landed the part of Liza in the play 'In the Loop which led her to feature in Off Broadway plays. While she is unsure of what might have transpired had she not taken time away from acting, it is something she is glad that she did not.
